Walking With Jesus Ministries Logo, designed by Dr. Jason Pfledderer

Our mission is simple but powerful: to reconcile former offenders back into society, and society to former offenders, through safe housing, spiritual discipleship, and practical support.

Founded by Dr. Jason Pfledderer, Walking with Jesus Ministries exists to bring hope, restoration, and practical support to those in need. Our mission is to help formerly incarcerated men and women successfully transition back into society through Christ-centered housing, accountability, and job training. Beyond this, we extend our reach globally—establishing schools in Africa, training pastors where education is otherwise out of reach, and providing food and resources for struggling families in South Bend. At its heart, WWJM is committed to reconciling people to God and empowering them to live transformed lives through Jesus Christ.

what

We are a non-denominational 501 (C)(3) Christian organization designed to help individuals transition from incarceration back into society. Our program is based on biblical, Christian ideals of faith, focusing on the spiritual heart of the individual.

where

Walking With Jesus Ministries serves in South Bend, Indiana, through transitional homes and food outreach, and internationally by developing schools, training pastors, and equipping leaders in Africa and beyond.

when

We work with individuals who earnestly desire a transformed life through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The ministry operates year-round, offering daily support to those in transition, ongoing food assistance, and continuous global ministry efforts to educate, equip, and empower leaders.

why

Walking With Jesus Ministries exists to share Christ’s love, restore lives, and offer hope. We believe in reconciling people to God and society by meeting both spiritual and practical needs. Our desire is for each individual to reflect biblical principles as they grow in their personal relationship with Christ.

how

Walking With Jesus Ministries provides transitional housing, mentoring, job training, and food assistance locally, while supporting global education initiatives like reviveSCHOOL and the International School of Deliverance. We do this by following the stopping stones presented in WWJM's recovery plan:

Step #1: Tangible life adjustments

Step #2: Financial restoration

Step #3: Independent empowerment

"...he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound."

- Isaiah 61:1

"Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me."

- Psalms 119:133

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him and praise His name.  For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations."

 Psalm 100:4-5
